The main hall of Guangji Monastery, also known as the Mahavira Hall, was originally built during the Qingning era of the Liao Dynasty but was destroyed in a fire during the early Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 9th year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty. The hall is situated behind the Guandi Hall, atop a 1.4-meter-high exquisitely carved Sumeru base. The structure features a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, with a width of seven bays and a depth of three bays. Inside, the hall houses statues of Shakyamuni, Amitabha, the Medicine Buddha, and the Eighteen Arhats.
