- The Guangji Monastery Pagoda was a landmark of its city for a long time, but due to years of neglect, its outer eaves suffered severe damage and were almost completely lost. In 1993, local authorities began the restoration of the ancient pagoda, completing the work in 1996. However, for some elderly residents, whenever the pagoda is mentioned, what comes to mind is its appearance before the restoration.
