The Guangji Monastery Pagoda was built in the third year of the Qingning era of the Liao Dynasty (1507). It is a solid brick pagoda with dense eaves, consisting of five parts: the base, the body, the eaves, the top, and the finial. After a comprehensive restoration in 1998 to preserve its original appearance, the pagoda now stands at a height of 71.25 meters. The octagonal body of the pagoda features carvings on each face, including a Buddha flanked by attendants, three treasure canopies, and two celestial beings. The celestial beings are depicted soaring above, while the grand Buddha sits solemnly in a niche, with the attendants standing respectfully beside. The eaves of the pagoda are divided into 13 tiers, with each corner originally supported by nanmu wooden brackets holding up the eaves and adorned with copper bells. Today, most of these have fallen, leaving only 11 brackets intact on the northwest corner.
