Originally built in the ninth year of the Kaitai era (1020). The Dacheng Hall spans nine bays in width (49.545 meters), has a depth of ten rafters (26.585 meters), and a total height of 19.930 meters. Apart from the Dacheng Hall, which remains original from the Liao Dynasty, other structures such as the mountain gate and paifang have been rebuilt since the Qing Dynasty and have been considerably reduced in scale.
