- On the morning of September 15th, sunny. A solitary tower stands on the mountain, with few surrounding auxiliary buildings. Instead, about a kilometer away, there is a magnificent temple. It appears to be a Buddhist pagoda, but in reality, it is a Nestorian Christian structure, housing Nestorian statues and inscriptions in Syriac.
