- The swifts flying around the pagodas are a famous sight of the Twin Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery. During the restoration of the pagoda structures, workers preserved the swifts' nesting holes without affecting the structural integrity of the Twin Pagodas, reinforcing the holes with cement.
