Beizhen Temple, originally constructed in the 14th year of the Kaihuang era under Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty (594 AD), is a shrine dedicated to the deity of Yiwulu Mountain. It underwent multiple renovations and expansions during the Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. According to inscriptions within the temple, the current Beizhen Temple was mainly renovated and expanded in the 19th year of the Yongle era (1421) and the 8th year of the Hongzhi era (1495) of the Ming Dynasty. To the east of Beizhen Temple stands a palace built during the Qianlong period.
