- On the afternoon of October 26, 2025, overcast. Jinkou Dam is a fairly primitive masonry structure—low, hugging the water's surface like a floating bridge, with both pedestrians and vehicles able to cross it. Legend has it that in ancient times, it also served flood control and irrigation purposes. The model includes the dam itself and small connecting sections on both sides called "goose wings."
