- At noon on September 23rd, a light rain fell. This stage is larger and more elaborately decorated than the Dongyue Temple, but what truly takes one's breath away are the exquisitely crafted deity statues and ornaments in the rear hall. Unfortunately, this rear hall was absolutely off-limits to entry, so we could only take a few commemorative photos through the gaps in the window lattice.
