The former site of the Changsha Municipal Government is located on Wuyi Avenue in Furong District, housed in a typical Soviet-style building. After the relocation westward to Yuelu District in 2001, the site has been renovated, with parts of it now used by units such as the Changsha Public Security Bureau.
