- On the afternoon of October 25, 2025, it was drizzling. The Chongjue Monastery Iron Pagoda is more like a "tin tower," appearing to be constructed from flimsy sheet metal. The "eaves" of each floor are somewhat uneven, likely due to years of rust. The Pagoda has a very tall brick and stone foundation, with the iron Pagoda itself being only the upper structure. The model is a single unit.
