- On the afternoon of September 16th, it was cloudy. This is a Buddha statue carved into a highly weathered cliff face in the valley. The statue is very shallow, appearing somewhat weathered under the elements. Visitors can look down at it from below. Perhaps because it's located in the valley, the noise of the drone was amplified by echoes, sounding as stark as mechanical drilling on the mountain—so intrusive that it drew everyone's attention. We could only photograph it from a distance.
