Liaoning Hotel (former Yamato Hotel)
Shenyang, Liaoning, China
Liaoning Hotel features a typical European Renaissance architectural style. This hotel is a seven-story building featuring two symmetrical courtyards. It is a four-story reinforced concrete structure, with the first floor characterized by continuous semicircular arched colonnades. The third and fourth floors gradually recede, and the octagonal-plan staircases at both ends, reminiscent of castles, protrude forward, accentuating the building's contours. Inside, the hotel includes a banquet hall with an orchestra pit, a billiard room, and a semi-basement. The selection, application, and construction of materials were exceptionally meticulous, allowing the building to remain perfectly preserved to this day.
