The head of this Buddha image and the other sandstone sculpture were made between 1400-1550 AD by craftsmen of the Phayao Chao Chun Sirorasa and other faithfuls of Wat Umong collect them from deserted monasteries in Phayao province in the years 1968 - 1970.
