- October 27, 2025, noon, cloudy. The Dai Temple is the largest sacrificial architectural complex I have ever seen, comparable to the Forbidden City, with complete and towering walls—its interior could even function as a medium-sized ancient town. Likewise, the trees are dense, but fortunately, its main structures are so grand and imposing that even the lush foliage cannot obscure them.
