This route once connected Shibuya Station to Shinbashi, Hamacho-Nakanohashi, and Suda-cho (Kanda), before returning to its starting point. While streetcars began to vanish from Tokyo's streets in 1963, they continue to operate along the Arakawa Line to the present day.
