Yibin University
Yibin, Sichuan, China
Yibin University occupies a geography defined by convergence. Situated where the Min and Jinsha rivers collide to form the Yangtze, the campus anchors the intellectual life of a city known historically as the first port of China’s most important waterway. The institution does not stand apart from this humid, riverine landscape as an isolated ivory tower; instead, it functions as a permeable extension of the region’s distinct ecology and economy. Yibin University has two campuses, Jiangbei and Lingang, with a total area of 2,260 mu. This model is of the old campus of Yibin University, specifically the Jiangbei campus.
