Small Water Tower Beside Beijincheng Ruins
Changsha, Hunan, China
The Beijincheng Ruins is an ancient archaeological site situated at Sanchaji on the western bank of the Xiangjiang River in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. Bordered by Mount Gu (Gushan) to the west and the Xiangjiang River to the east, the site historically functioned as a military defense system utilizing the adjacent waterways. It represents one of the few surviving ancient rammed-earth city walls in China. This is a very miniature water tower located next to the Beijincheng Ruins, which is quite rare, and its construction date is unknown.
