Jianchuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital

This modern fortress of healing grew from modest beginnings in October 1989. For decades, local healers preserved ancient knowledge. The new campus, situated north of Minzu Middle School, features a layout designed with no underground levels. It organizes healing into distinct zones: an outpatient building, an oxygen supply center, and a specialized preventative medicine center. The architecture physically embodies the core philosophy of treating disease before it arises.

Today, a staff of over 120 professionals operates advanced diagnostic tools, including ultrasound bone densitometers, alongside traditional moxibustion and acupuncture. The hospital is transitioning toward a 350-bed tertiary class-B institution, blending traditional Chinese medicine with ethnic Bai healing practices and health tourism.

In the quiet corridors, the scent of smoldering mugwort meets the sterile gleam of modern laboratories. The rubber bearings beneath the floorboards stand ready to absorb the earth's shocks, while inside, the ancient pulse of Bai and Chinese medicine continues its steady, uninterrupted beat.
