The Former Site of Mau Kee Trading Company (Mao Ji Foreign Firm) is a significant historical landmark located at No. 24 Haian Street within the Yantai Mountain modern architectural cluster in Zhifu District. Built in 1934, this substantial structure covers a building area of 1,200 square meters, making it one of the larger commercial heritage sites in the area.

The building emerged during a period when Yantai flourished as a treaty port, following its official opening in 1861. As part of a diverse foreign settlement area that hosted 17 consulates and numerous international enterprises, the Mau Kee Trading Company represents the city’s rich history as a hub for global commerce and maritime trade. Today, it stands as one of the 38 well-preserved modern architectural sites on Yantai Mountain, contributing to the unique "open-air museum" atmosphere of the district and reflecting the early 20th-century architectural fusion that characterizes the region.
