The former site of the renowned Daqing Tieren Senior High School was located in Chengfengzhuang, Ranghulu District of Daqing, Heilongjiang province. Established in 1987, this site served as the cradle for cultivating the talents of the children of oil workers, embodying the "Iron Man" (Tieren) spirit of perseverance and dedication.

Daqing Tieren Senior High School was founded in 1987, following a decision in July 1986 to establish the South District Senior High School. In May 1987, it was officially named "Tieren Middle School" in honor of Wang Jinxi, the "Iron Man" of Daqing. The school quickly distinguished itself, being designated a provincial key middle school in 1993 and one of the first batch of model high schools in Heilongjiang Province in October 2000.

The original campus witnessed the school's growth and the development of its educational philosophy. The school's motto, "Be simple, responsible, realistic, and creative," was instilled in generations of students at this location. After serving as the school's home for over three decades, the move to a new campus was completed by January 10, 2021. The new campus provides students with upgraded facilities and a modern learning environment.
