On the morning of September 23rd, a moderate rain fell, growing heavier as time passed. The gates of Dongyue Temple were tightly locked, the interior empty except for a solitary parked car. Initially, our attempts to contact someone to open the gates were unsuccessful, leaving us with no choice but to rely solely on drone modeling. In front of the opera stage stood lush, towering trees, through whose gaps our drone weaved in and out, striving to capture every possible detail. Later, we called the local cultural relics bureau, who then contacted the caretaker of Dongyue Temple—a local villager—to open the gates for us, allowing us to photograph the interior.
